Asian Games: India defeated Pakistan in squash, won gold medal

New Delhi: The Indian Squash team has shown brilliant performance in the Asian Games being played in China and has won the gold medal. Team India won this medal by defeating its arch rival Pakistan in the final on Saturday. Pakistan has the upper hand in this game but Team India gave a tough competition to it in this match and won the gold medal. India has won this match 2-1.

However, India’s start was not good. Mahesh Mangaonkar was defeated by Nasir Iqbal in the first match. After this, Saurav Ghoshal made a comeback for the team and defeated MA Khan and leveled the score at 1-1. After this, India’s Abhay Singh won the third match and gave India the gold medal.
