Asian Games: Indian men’s volleyball team in quarterfinals, defeated Chinese Taipei 3-0

Hangzhou. The Indian men’s volleyball team continued its stellar performance at the Asian Games on Friday with a 3-0 (25-22, 25-22) win over Chinese Taipei, ranked 43rd in the world. 25-21) and entered the quarterfinals. India will face fifth-ranked Japan in the world in the quarter-finals.

In the match, young Amit shared 16 points and the experienced pair of Vineet and Ashwal shared 26 points. At the same time, Ashwal has more than 50 points in three matches and has emerged as an excellent player in this tournament.

Earlier, India had topped the group stage by defeating 2018 Asian Games medalist South Korea in a thrilling five-set match.
