This is the third gold medal of the Indian women’s team in the Asian Games. India had earlier won the gold medal in 2010 and 2014. In 2018, this team lost to Iran and could win only silver. India had taken a lead of 14-9 at half time in this title match. But in the second half, Chinese Taipei made a comeback and gave competition to Team India.
