ATCEMS: Major bus collision in southeast Austin, 6 patients involved

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Crews are responding to a major collision involving a bus in southeast Austin near Del Valle Street.

Austin-Travis County EMS said at least six patients were involved and CPR was in progress.

ATCEMS said it had three ambulances, a physician assistant and two commanders assigned to the incident.

The Austin Fire Department said it also had three engines and a battalion chief at the scene of the incident assisting with patient care and scene management.

Officials said to avoid the area.
