New Delhi: The Pakistan team, which was seen struggling in the Asia Cup 2023, has suffered a big setback. Before the important match against Sri Lanka, Pakistan team’s star bowler Naseem Shah has been ruled out of the tournament. Naseem is out of Asia Cup due to injury. Let us tell you that Naseem Shah played his last match against the Indian team in the Asia Cup. In that match, he bowled 9.2 overs and did not take any wicket for 53 runs. In this match, Naseem got injured on his right shoulder while fielding. Zaman Khan was included in the team in place of Naseem Shah.

The Indian team has already entered the finals in Asia Cup 2023. Whereas Pakistan team has to play its last and decisive match in Super-4 against Sri Lanka on 14th September in Colombo. The team that wins this match will reach the final, where there will be a competition with the Indian team. In such a situation, Naseem Shah being out due to injury before this important match is a big blow for the Pakistan team. On the other hand, Pakistan team’s other star bowler Haris Rauf is also injured. He was also injured in the match against India. Haris did not bowl against India as a precautionary measure due to injury.

But now the medical team of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said that Haris is absolutely fine. He is recovering better. Can play in the match against Sri Lanka. PCB medical team’s doctor Sohail Saleem said that both these fast bowlers are very important for us. These are the strong pillars of the team.
