G.A.S. is searching for an Environmental Field Technician (Emissions Specialist) for the oil and gas industry.

Work Description:

Individual will be required to perform emissions tests at job sites for Oil and Gas producers, hospitals, and other entities that utilize natural gas compressors and/or generators.
Must possess good communication skills to rely information to the G.A.S. testing team and its’ customers.
Knowledgeable and successful with time management to complete necessary reports in a timely manner.
Must be able and willing to travel outside the designated area. Transportation is provided by the G.A.S. company vehicle. Vehicles are housed with equipment for testing and also serve as the mobile office.
Ability to work solo, without limited supervision and in an independent atmosphere
Ability to provide excellent customer service to client(s)

Work Schedule:

Will vary day to day and week to week. There can be long days and short days, long weeks and short weeks. The work schedule is based on customer activities and needs.

Qualifications: Responsible, independent, able to manage time wisely, great customer service, experience with Apple products, Microsoft office, open to travel and fluctuating work schedule. Training is provided for your success. The training period can be 4-6 weeks’ dependent upon the candidate and the schedule. Some portions of the training will take place at the GAS headquarters located in Elk City, OK. **Must have a clean driving record and current drivers license. Also must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Wages: $67,000.00 based on BELO (non-negotiable), per diem pay $50 for overnight travel per night, and annual reviews.
