JOB TITLE: Forklift Operator
SUMMARY: Operate industrial fork trucks to unload beer and other materials from inbound brewery shipments, load company delivery vehicles, manage rotation and product handling of inventory within facility, replenish product pick areas and maintain product handling equipment.
JOB DUTIES:

Ensure proper rotation of all products in pick area

Keep pick area clean and organized at all times

Move pallets around storage facility

End of shift pick up and disposal of trash and debris from the warehouse floor

Follow company policies and procedures in regards to product freshness and rotation

Attend team and branch meetings as required

Keep breakage room clean and organized

Maintain and service forklift batteries

Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

Ability to safely operate fork trucks and warehouse equipment

Maintain OSHA Certification for electric jacks and fork trucks

Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment

If not forklift certified they must successfully complete certification in-house

Team work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICTIONS:

Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner

Forklift certification per OSHA standards

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs.

Hang merchandise as needed

Repetitive lifting, up to 50 lbs. overhead

Bending, pulling/pushing up to 340 pounds on a two-wheeler

Ability to continuously stand or walk

Ability to bend and occasionally squat

Occasional carrying and reaching
