Job Description :
RK Communications is seeking an experienced freelance fashion publicist to work in its New York headquarters. An enthusiasm for collaboration, ability to secure stories and out-of-the-box creative thinking are all musts.
The ideal candidate will be quick on their feet and see storytelling moments in fashion brands that can easily be converted to coverage.
Experience developing long form story pitches
Expertise in working across multiple brands at once
Knowledge of the fashion media as well as influencer landscape
Impeccable relationships with top-of-the-masthead editors
Interest/ability to develop new relationships in new mediums such as TikTok, Snap, Substack, etc.
Knowledge/experience working in events, including developing and pitching budgets
Competence in Launchmetrics, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite
Candidates are required to have a minimum of five years experience in fashion PR, agency-side experience is a plus.
