World Cup 2023 will be played right after the India-Australia series. It will start from 5th October.

The team for the ODI series between India and Australia can be announced at 8.30 pm on Monday night. According to a news from Inside Sports, the selection committee can give rest to Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya from this series. The World Cup is to be held immediately after the ODI series against Australia. In such a situation, the workload of the players will increase. India’s big players can be given rest to reduce their workload.

However, no official information regarding this has been revealed yet. Kohli has been playing cricket for a long time and it is necessary to give him a break before the World Cup. Many matches will have to be played in the World Cup also. Same is the case with Rohit. They too are in dire need of a break. Fast bowler Bumrah returned to Team India after recovering from injury and performed brilliantly. But now he needs a break.

In the absence of Rohit, Ishan Kishan may get a chance to open. Ishaan and Shubman Gill are included in the list of important players of Team India. KL Rahul may get a place in the team in the middle order. Rahul has made a comeback after injury. At present, official information regarding the fitness of Shreyas Iyer has not been revealed. If he remains fit then he can get a place in the team.
