*Avondale Dealerships *Payroll Administrators ensure an elevated client experience processing member payroll transactions.
Avondale is proud to represent Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter Commercial Vehicles, Porsche, Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls Royce, McLaren, Maserati and Koenigsegg.Responsibilities: Provide information and answering employee questions about payroll related matters.
Processes timecards and worksheets to ensure accurate and timely running of payroll.
Process payroll transactions
Issue paychecks and assist members with managing direct deposit.
Prepare and post weekly and semi-monthly payroll journal entries and reconcile accounts.
Post weekly 401k contribution entries.
Prepare and post weekly Cobra report.
Coordination with HR department to ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining database with updates in status changes, tax withholdings, benefits deductions, time off accruals, etc.
Identifies internal control issues by reviewing existing policies, verifying changes in authorized personnel, and communicating issues to the Payroll Manager
Knows and understands the Avondale Privacy and Information Securities Policy and adhere to its requirements
Attends weekly department meetings as required
Other Duties as AssignedQualifications: Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certificate Payroll Certification (CPP) required.Knowledge of state and federal wage and tax laws and overtime requirements.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
