Department Overview:
The Credit Financing team is part of the Global Spread Products Financing & Securitization organization. The business focuses on customized financing solutions for strategic clients including large, well-known alternative investment managers and specialty finance companies. These facilities are backed by a range of assets, including broadly syndicated and private loans to corporate borrowers, and are primarily retained for Citi’s portfolio but may also be securitized into the capital markets or syndicated to other institutional investors.
The team is small, highly collaborative and has built and maintained a market-leading financing franchise for close to two decades. The team manages more than USD 20bn of financing globally.
Role Overview:
To be part of a newly created in-business product management (PM) team within the NAM Credit Financing business. The PM team will generally support the Credit Financing business on portfolio management, monitoring, controls, execution, reporting and analysis.
Work Profile Specifics:

Portfolio Management: take responsibility for ongoing portfolio management and reporting, including monitoring of servicer reports, valuation work, covenant monitoring, and maintaining of collateral databases
Loan Operations compensating controls: work closely with the NAM Loan Operations team to provide support, assist in identifying issues and provide broad support to loan agency functions (e.g., instruct roll-over, rate-setting, invoicing, set-up for syndicated deals, and all other key aspects of loan servicing)
Deal Setup and Closing: working in tandem with the Credit Financing transactors, the ICM TM team and Loan Operations team on all aspects of deal setup and deal closings
Systems: work across various Citi systems to support the Credit Financing business, including Citi’s loan and risk reporting systems (e.g., CitiRisk), as well as the front office pipeline and deal systems (e.g., Apollo, Origination Central)
Reporting: work with Credit Financing transactors on all portfolio-wide analysis work for senior management reporting (both business and regulatory), internal audits, monthly and quarterly risk report cycles and other oversight processes (e.g., quarterly business reviews, Internal Audit, QA, FCR etc.)
Controls & Reconciliation: Ensuring all activities and bookings are executed in line with relevant policies with key operational risks identified and mitigated.

Knowledge/Experience:

Knowledge of Citi loans and risk systems is an advantage but not essential, as well as relevant policies and procedures
General knowledge of asset backed lending advantageous
Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as demonstratable ability to comprehend legal documentation (including loan facility agreements)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point and Word) required; VBA and Python experience not required, but a plus
