We Are Hiring:

RN Data Analyst

Lourdes Hospital

Binghamton, New York

Full Time; On Site

Schedule: 40.0 hours/week; 80 hours/pay period and on-site

Lourdes Hospital, part of Ascension in Binghamton, New York is hiring for an experienced Registered Nurse to work as an RN Data Analyst with Nursing Administration. As the RN Data Analyst, your primary responsibility will be chart audits for ambulatory infusion and other clincial sites of care as assigned. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two (2) years’ RN experience and be able to critically evaluate nursing documentation with an eye to quality and performance improvement. Previous experience as a nurse educator and preceptor is also preferred.

What You Will Do:

Collect and analyze Nursing-related data from multiple sources for the development of reports and statistical information.

Compile analytical and statistical reports.
Formulate, definesand recommend scope and format of reports.
Oversee provision of ad hoc management reports.
Review information for accuracy and reconciles data on a regular basis.
Monitor departmental hardware and software components of the databases.
Provide support and education to staff on how to access reports and interpret the data
What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Registered Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing preferred.

Education:

High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree required.
