New Delhi: The Indian team registered a historic victory against Pakistan in the Asia Cup. After Pakistan’s defeat in the tournament, the team’s former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar reacted. Akhtar also praised India a lot. India won against Pakistan by 228 runs, which was India’s biggest win against Pakistan in ODI.

After the India-Pak match, Shoaib Akhtar shared a video on his social media, in which he talked about the match. He said in the video, “Many congratulations India. India played very well and got four wickets, although India did the bowling and batting well. But the best thing about India was that India’s bowling made sure that we would come with our full attitude and we would take wickets, we would get out early. In the process of which he also got out. As a fast bowler, I found these to be good signs. Jasprit Bumrah and Siraj spelled very well.”

Kohli and Rahul batted fiercely
In the match against Pakistan, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul scored brilliant centuries, due to which the Indian team managed to put a score of 356/2 on the board in 50 overs in the first innings. Both the centenarians returned unbeaten. Kohli scored a century while batting at number three. Whereas KL Rahul, who was returning after injury, accomplished this feat while playing at number four position.

Kohli played an inning of 122 runs in 94 balls at a strike rate of 129.79. His innings included 6 fours and 6 sixes. Kohli was awarded the title of ‘Player of the Match’ for this innings. Apart from this, KL Rahul scored 111* runs in 106 balls with the help of 12 fours and 2 sixes. Some very beautiful shots were seen in this innings of Rahul.
