There will be no opening ceremony in the World Cup, there will be a special program; Captains of all 10 teams will do this work
New Delhi: The countdown for World Cup 2023 has started. Just wait for a few hours and then the game of dispute between ball and bat will start from Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The truth about which team has so much strength will be revealed. But before this happens, something else is happening in Ahmedabad. The first match of the World Cup is between only two teams in Ahmedabad but the captains of all the 10 teams have reached there. The question is what is the plan behind this?
Actually, the reason for the captains of all the teams to reach Ahmedabad before the first match of the World Cup is the Captain’s Meet. Actually, this has been the tradition of ICC. Before the start, there is a meeting of the captains of all the teams playing in the World Cup. The same tradition has been maintained in the World Cup 2023 also.
Captains of all 10 teams in Ahmedabad
The captains of all the teams have reached there for the meeting to be held in Ahmedabad. Rohit Sharma has headed there directly from Thiruvananthapuram. Pakistan captain Babar Azam was brought from Hyderabad to Ahmedabad by special flight. When Rohit Sharma and Babar Azam met for the first time when they reached Ahmedabad for the meeting, both of them hugged each other.
This special program will not be an opening ceremony
Let us tell you that earlier many types of statements were coming out regarding the fact that the opening ceremony of the World Cup is not taking place. But, actually, there is no opening ceremony in the World Cup. In its place a Captain’s Meet is held, in which a special program is organised. As is happening today in Ahmedabad, in which the captains of all the 10 teams have reached there to participate.
India will play its first match on October
