As part of Wealth Management (WM) Solutions, the Solutions Product Development group works in conjunction with numerous wealth management investment solutions teams to develop and deliver products for use in the Private Bank (PB), JPMorgan Advisors (JPMA) and Chase Wealth Management (CWM) lines of business.

ROLE OUTLINE

This is an Analyst Product Development role. The Discretionary Product Development team is responsible for launching and managing fee based, long-only discretionary products for distribution to private clients. These investments, proprietary or third-party managed, are comprised of predominantly equity and fixed income Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), Mutual Funds (MFs) and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and are offered to clients through SMA structures. The Product Development role will require significant interaction with our manager solutions team, portfolio managers, investors and supporting areas of the organization.

Drive new product development and build-out of new investment capabilities, ensuring our initiatives are delivered on schedule and within scope
Support the product pipeline and development efforts for US distributed discretionary offerings
Lead feasibility analysis of newly proposed solutions by partnering with key stakeholders to identify critical components of the delivery and time to market
Partner with Legal & Compliance to ensure adherence to regulations & policies in the design and development of new solutions
Develop and manage project plans and updates for senior management
Serve as a subject matter expert for the discretionary Core and Advisory investment platform and solutions
Make recommendations to re-engineer process flows working with trading desks, middle and back-office operations, and technology
Create partnerships with various teams including Portfolio Management teams, Legal & Compliance, Risk, Marketing, Technology & Operations, Finance, and Business
Coordinate across lines of business to ensure we have a unified message and launch timeframe

QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of financial services experience in Asset Management, Wealth Management, Private Banking and/or Broker Dealer
Exposure to Investment Products (MFs, SMAs, ETFs, Equities, Fixed Income) preferred
Proven ability to distill complex ideas into consumable and actionable materials
Experience analyzing, communicating and executing against complex business initiatives with preparation and structure
Track record of delivering on business initiatives in the asset management industry
Ability to influence and partner effectively across a global organization
Demonstrated track record of adapting to a rapidly changing business environment, ability to quickly assess situations, act decisively and capitalize on change
Excellent presentation skills
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Industry involvement – staying abreast of industry trends and issues
Highly collaborative – history of delivering results with and through organizational partnership
Background in Product Development and Product Management preferred
